A lot of people may be wondering what's all this about?

As outlined elsewhere on this site I used the DJ name Stereo Steve from 1993 to 1997 on FM104.
That's a total of 4 years with me on-air using that established DJ name.

So, where's the controversy?

On 5th November 2007, Ireland's national radio (RTÉ) carried a live phone-in programme which featured callers and their experiences of hiring a wedding DJ called Stereo Steve. A man identifying himself as Stereo Steve also called the programme.

• The Stereo Steve referred to in the programme is not connected with me, in any way whatsoever.
• I have absolutely no connection with any of the business activities referred to in the programme.
• The person who calls himself Stereo Steve on this phone-in show is NOT me.
