The Stereo Steve Overnight Radio Show - Studio Photographs

For two years, starting 1995, I am very proud to state that I presented one of the most listened-to overnight radio shows in Dublin City. This show featured News, Weather, What's On, Requests, Trivia Teasers, Mystery Sounds - and of course - music.

Unfortunately, I had no choice in the selection of music for the shift, but I did occasionally slip in my own personal favourite tune every so often! I got away with it!

Pictured below: Kieran Murray (on-air name STEREO STEVE) doing the overnight shift from the FM 104 studios based in the Ballast Office, O'Connell Street, Dublin, 2nd January 1997.

One of the many jobs I had on FM104 was working on the 'Super Blue Mavericks' ( see picture above)

These was a fleet of four vehicles which traveled throughout the city, gathering requests, giving out free product samples and issuing car stickers (click image (left)

In the early 1990's there were many cars in Dublin city with FM104 stickers on the back window! I did a GOOD job!
