JANUARY 1989: MILLENNIUM RADIO 88FM DUBLIN

This is me, standing in front of the Ford Millennium Radio Car. The radio station had two Ford Fiestas and they were supplied and sponsored by Walden Motors, Parnell Street, Dublin. The cars were used to raise the public profile of Millennium Radio. We used them for doing news reports, going to events, going home for the weekend (!)

In fact, we used those cars to go practically EVERYWHERE! The fuel for the vehicles was supplied from the RTÉ complex in Donnybrook. There was a small petrol station there which supplied fuel for all the vehicles that belonged to RTÉ.
